More Family Fun!

I really love getting pics of my kids in the moment! They relish each adventure we go on, and then talk about for days, weeks, months, and even years. We went bowling with our Vegas cousins, and had a blast. The boys of course got silly. Isn't that what happens when they go bowling?

We have Josh hugging Grandma Karen, Isabelle, if she couldn't throw the ball far enough, would add a little kick. I'm not sure how she didn't break her toe. And Nadja, who was not that amused by us bowling, but managed to make her own fun. Also, Aunt Mary with Isabelle. I think she would go home with Mary, if Mary would take her.

The kids did a fun little sleep over with Zach. He came and slept out on the tramp witht hem. This is new to them, and only Isabelle came in.

Montana and Vegas Fun!

We have had a blast of cousins the last week. We had Dante and Gabriel from Montana, stay for a few days. What a wild ride. On the way home all of the kids were chanting (yelling) "Toys R Us!" That lasted until Blackfoot, and picked up off and on throughout the hour drive to Idaho Falls.

Then we have our cousins visiting from Las Vegas for 2 weeks. We always get a little crazy, and have a wild time together. We have gone miniature golfing, ate Kiwi Loco (pronounced Keely Loco by Isabelle, Keely is the name of one of her friends), made homemade ice cream, played basketball, hide and seek at 9:30 at night, and we are gearing up for bowling and pizza tomorrow.

As for my 5K. No one was able to come watch me run, so there are no pics. I ran with Jen Jeppsen, and while I am sure she could have run it in about 20 min or less, she stuck by my side, and got the slow time of about 37 min. What a fabulous friend! She inspires me to do and be better!

Here is one last pick. The paparazzi, (Jared's Aunt Mary and his mom) were trying to get everyone to pose, and were yelling let's take some more pictures! So, this is what they got!

I love family!

Back to normal

Things are finally feeling like they are getting back to normal! Well, as normal as can be at this house. We have been going non-stop for about 2-3 weeks now, and the past 2 days, we've just tried to get back to our regular schedule. Today, finally, my house is picked up and cleaned (mostly). We all are done sleeping in, and staying up late for a while. We had our nephews come visit, and it was a lot of fun. They say cleanliness is next to Godliness, and I have to say, that I feel better, and happier today, because our house is cleaned up, and less messy than it has been. Also, I'm so glad it is Friday!!!!! Tomorrow I am running a 5K with my good friends. Look for pics, and info on how I did.

Nummy Nems and Post op

I know everyone's kids say cute things, but the most recent at our house is calling M&M's nummy nems. Isabelle is growing up so fast and tries to say everything that we say, including some things we say to her, but wish she didn't repeat.

Wyatt's surgery was a great success. He has been the best patient. He very rarely cried because of pain, just hunger. Also, the rules of post op have been dragging him down. Here are some pics of our trip for the big surgery! Now we are telling to slow it down. This is near impossible with a 6 year old boy who only wants to run with his buddies.

I am indeed grateful though, that this has not been as bad as we thought it would be. I was expecting much worse things to take place when we got home. I think it shows the power of prayer, and priesthood. Thank you to everyone who prayed for Wyatt's speedy recovery!

"Book Club"

After going out with some girlfriends tonight, I finally made the decision to start a blog. I've been wanting to do this, but always put it off. So here it is, me at midnight, trying to figure out how to become a blogger. I doubt there will be very many profound things posted here, but you might just get some giggles.
